Ciudad Jardín used to be a sea side resort until the end of the 19th century. This was the place to go to relax and improve your health. You would then stay at Hotel Ciudad Jardin, which is actually still there. 

Here you will find a fantastic wide and long beach, with sun chairs and a life guard in the summer. In 2008 the beach was awarded for its cleanliness and for its good access for disabled people. 

Ciudad Jardín is an especially popular place for families due to the big playground. At the same time you will find great cafés and fish restaurants here that are all very busy and popular. 

In this neighbourhood there are nice villas in combination with apartment buildings. It is an active area all year round, but still has a holiday vibe. It is a great choice to have your holiday home here if you want to visit Mallorca throughout the whole year. Just take the bicycle and enjoy the beach front ride to Palma.
