On the heights of Terreno you will find fantastic villas, charming and colorful low built houses, combined with modern higher apartment buildings with great sea views. The streets are narrow and steep, and a 12% inclination is nothing unusual.
Years ago many families from Palma used to have their summer residence here in Terreno, as it is located on the hillside with a cool breeze in the summer time. You can still easily see traces from this time just by looking at the big and beautiful villas with large gardens and fabulous views.
In the 60’s and 70’ Terreno was the centre for the city nightlife, especially around Plaza Gomila which was known as the international jet set hotspot.

In the area of Terreno you will also find several international schools, which makes the area extra attractive for families with children. Since Terreno is also located close to the Paseo Maritimo and the Bellver Park, it’s easy access for long runs or walks with the dog.
